Please be advised that IHDA has decided to “shut down” the Welcome Home Illinois program tomorrow; earlier than what they previously stated. However, no need to worry. If you are in need of Down Payment Assistance IHDA and Guaranteed Rate still offer the “Smart Move” program which will allow you up to $6,000 in down payment assistance.
